Hölderlin

The poet I admire most is Friedrich Hölderlin. His language has been carrying me ever since I was a child and it is like home.

Every time I read Hölderlin I am fascinated anew by this unsurpassed mixture of great beauty and brittle distance coupled with a very special rhythm.

Inevitably -  Hölderlin has been influencing my thoughts
and my creativity all my life. So I decided to add a short biography and some of his poems to this website where
my art is presented.

schöpfte aus den Tiefen
seiner Nacht.

Noch heute
lässt er Seelen
brennen.
